Located in Chicago’s South Loop, the CoreSite CH2 Data Center is a purpose-built facility designed to deliver high-performance, low-latency colocation services for enterprise and cloud providers.
Metropolitan Steel erected the structural steel framing, including rooftop steel for chiller platforms, exhaust stacks, and generator pads. Our team worked closely with MEP trades to integrate infrastructure for high-load HVAC and electrical systems, sequencing deliveries and lifts within a highly constrained urban site. We delivered the project on an accelerated schedule to support CoreSite’s phased tenant onboarding, while maintaining strict access control and safety compliance protocols throughout. Coordination with architect Corgan, structural engineer AG&E, and general contractor JT Magen ensured seamless execution with zero disruption to schedule or scope.
If you have work that demands experience, precision, and grit—we’re ready to take it on.
