Located at 1950 W. Polk Street in Chicago’s Illinois Medical District, the Central Campus Health Center is a 9-story, state-of-the-art clinic and administrative office building developed by Cook County Health & Hospitals System.

Positioned adjacent to the historic Stroger Hospital, the facility expands outpatient services and brings modern medical infrastructure to the community. Metropolitan Steel was selected to perform the complete structural steel erection for the building’s frame. Working within the tight constraints of an active hospital campus, our team erected thousands of tons of structural steel and composite deck to bring the core structure to life—safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
