The I‑490 / Illinois Route 390 Interchange is a pivotal phase of the $3.4 billion Elgin–O’Hare Western Access initiative—designed to loop traffic around the western edge of O’Hare Airport and provide seamless connectivity between I‑294, I‑90, and local arterial roads.

Our team tackled complex lift and placement operations for multiple bridge spans over priority crossings including York Road, tie-ins with the IL 390 ramps, and railway corridors (CPKC and UP) - a total of 15 bridges.
