Tim started his career as an ironworker in 1990 at the age of 18. Thanks to his father, a Local #1 Ironworker for CTA, he was given the opportunity to follow in his footsteps. The thought of becoming an ironworker was exciting to him. Tim has always been inspired by his dad because of his patience, incredible work ethic, and love for his family. To date, Tim is most proud of the recent Amazon project which included 25,000 tons of steel. He is motivated every day by having the opportunity to build projects with his high-performing team at Metropolitan Steel. There isn’t a bridge or building that they can’t erect.
